Learn To Sail Whitsundays |

The course
is a learn to sail adventure which teaches the
skills and techniques involved in sailing a
yacht.
Each student will
receive an Australian Yachting Federation
Accredited Competent Crew Certificate upon
successful completion.
The Cruise is
skippered by a qualified AYF instructor who will
teach a variety of practical and theory
components involved in the sailing of a yacht.
With only 9
students per cruise, personal attention is
assured. |

Itinerary: |
|

|
|
|
 |
Day 1
-
Depart Abel Point Marina at 9:00am. Start
learning the ropes in thee World' most beautiful
classroom, the Whitsundays. The nationally
accredited Competent Crew course will have you
setting the sails, charting a course and
learning the finer points of handling a yacht.
Your first night is spent in a calm Whitsunday
anchorage.
Day 2
- Wake for another exciting day sailing the
Whitsunday's. You will learn new skills such as
rope work, helmsman ship, safety, anchoring and
much more.
Day 3
-
Set off for your final day in the 'class room',
putting your new skills to the test as you sail
through the sparkling waters of the
Whitsunday's, then back to Airlie Beach.
Upon your arrival at Abel Point Marina at approx
4:00pm you will be presented with your official
Competent Crew Certificate. |

What To Bring:
A
sense of fun and adventure!, BYO alcohol and
soft drinks (no glass please), beach towel and
sunhat, T-shirt, shorts and swimwear,
sunscreen, practical clothing and footwear,
camera and film, all in a small soft bag please.
